Best food for RED colouring?

Yeah, they came from Thailand, not Japan. No, I didn't ask the breeder what they were eating there. As I mentioned in my original post, I absolutely refuse to feed any of my fish Hikari foods, they're total junk IME. I've got NLS, Northfin and Bug Bites on their menu right now to try out with them, and have ordered Repashy Grub Pie and Redrum to mix in as well.

My package containing Hikari cichlid bio-gold+ just showed up last night, but I’m not going to feed him that since the NLS is being delivered today.
I do have Fluval big bites flakes on hand. Are you planning on feeding multiple types of food daily? I was feeding mine the flakes when I first got him.

Hikari blood red parrot has crap ingredients and only comes in 1 pellet size. If you're feeding a smaller fish and he's just swallowing it without chewing (nothing coming out it's gills is a good indicator) it will eventually blow out it's ********.

Agreed, other than it can be purchased in multiple sizes.

I only feed my fish once per day, and I skip one day a week. So I rotate through a few different foods each day, not multiple per day. Tonight, NLS, tomorrow, Bug Bites, next day, Northfin, etc.
