Whats would be the best food for my severums, both adults and fries?
my adult are given nls pellets for arowana, shrimps and superworms.

while fries are given tetra bits and some bloodworms,
what would be good addition to their diet?

thanks.

Freeze-dried Krill, Tetra Cichlid sticks, earthworms, Superworms, mealworms, I have had my Gold Severum eat from my fingers.

I've also fed peas, lettuce, market prawns, and of course pellets, flakes, and the like.

That pretty much sums it up, just make sure to give them lots of greens...mine is about 7" long and loves the spirulina sticks.

My gold eats pretty much anything I put in the tank although he is too slow to catch feeders (or maybe too lazy). I give him frozen beefheart (treat), frozen bloodworms, frozen shrimp, spirlina flakes, cichlid pellets, crickets, and carrots. Mine is about 8" and has some pretty good color so I must be doing something right.

I would make him eat some form of vegetation. Try the spirinula as mentioned above. While Severums will eat protien rich diets they are not really carnivores. IMO for the best result they need a mix of both.

Try mixing veggies with pellets and frozen foods in a blender or something then freeze it all together. This way they will just be trying to eat the whole block of frozen food.

Forgot one thing. Try and put some floating plants in there like water sprite and duckweed. Mine munches on that every once in a while.
