best food?

Right now I'm alternating brine shrimp/spirulina pellets but I'm wondering what you all feed your cichlids....lots of choices and I'm new with my 55 gallon tank....frontosa, aurora, labrids, scat, Julie...

What I found to be the best african cichlid food is New life specturm cichlid formula. It is a really good food and I highly recomend it.

NLS......i also supplement with pure spirulina pellets and the occational live guppies......but mostly nls

Only if you want to . You can buy it on Thatpetplace but that would be boring.

My africans love the omega one flake.

Other than being messy they practically turn up their fishy noses at anything else.

I alternate with some otehr pellets but that is their main food

also feed them soem lettuce and cucumber once or twice a week.

I got some of the nls this past weekend and the fish go nuts for it!I never used a fishfood that smelled so fresh.I also use osi spirulena flake and marineland bioblend.

I love new life spectrum =) but if I cant get ahold of it I use hikari also..
