i use chingmix because i get it for free. but i don't use it for any special reason. same growth as hikari gold. i actually got jag cichlids and kept them in seperate tanks. fed one group chingmix and the other hikari gold. grew about the same if anything in hikari golds favor. better color, more active, and ate more. just over priced overseas **** that can write w/e they want on the label b/c it's overseas. like lead paint toys from china
hi . . . not familiar with Chingmix, but I wanted to make sure I understood your post; are you saying Hikari Gold was better than Chingmix or vice-versa? I was confused because I think both are from "overseas" (Hikari from Japan, Chingmix from . . . Guam? China? can't tell)
ive never heard of chingmix, or even seen it either... and i dont use blood worms either cuz of the scare of parasites, ive been stickin to cichlid gold, i was just seein if i should add anything to my fishes diet

could be true, chingmix head booster and pearl color are the samething, same ingredients, they just try to scam you to buy more. They are for sale in Golden Aquarium, but its $15 for 125 grams.
I use some pellets that are cheap in bulk, but don't seem to have much nutrition in em as my snooks have barely grown. I am going to try some hikari soon though.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for some floating cichlid pellets, as my tank is fairly deep and the snooks only eat in the top half of the tank.
I use it almost exclusively and have better results than with any other food or combination of foods. Variety can be good, but most of the foods we can acquire are very similar to each other (and inferior to NLS, Omega, and a couple of others).
