we have alot in common as my Africans just got greens, krill an mysis about an hour ago...lol. Xtreme is really good stuff though. Mo Devlin suggested it a few years ago and my eyes have been opened. Not to say NLS isn't a great food, because it is, but Xtreme is by far my fishes favorite.xtreme and dainichi are my favorites. All my fish get krill and mysis too

As far as improving your fishes color, the natural color enhancer found in shrimp is astaxanthin at a level of approx 1,000 ppm. The level of astaxanthin in Haematococcus pluvialis (one of the micro-algae used in NLS) is approx 20,000 ppm - or 20 times that as found in shrimp. NLS also uses Antarctic Krill as the main ingredient, so feeding shrimp on top of that is kind of redundant as far as color enhancing goes.
