You can't just try something once, and give up. That's exactly why you are still feeding bloodworms. Training fish takes a little skill, a little ingenuity, and sometimes a LOT of patience. Such as possibly using a feed tube (a length of PVC pipe) to get food down to your fire eel, while the bass is feeding. Sometimes you need to think outside of the box. Pellet training is also not done overnight, start small and add a little NLS TherA while feeding fresh/frozen. Eventually some of the fish will figure it out. Even a BGK can easily be trained to pellets. Good luck.
