Not bad at all. Are they the only fish in the tank. Here's my tank, what type of lighting are you using?

This tank is stocked with one of each
•kole tang
•six line wrasse
•porcupine puffer
•harliquin tusk
•pearlscale butterfly

Lightning is a three bulb corallife antinic fixture. I don't remember what the bulbs I put in it were though. One the lfs starts marking down corals and lights I'll probably upgrade all my tanks to LEDs.

Nice tank.

I see a nice purple, a sailfin, a flame angel, a trigger of some kind, a yellow damsel maybe behind the sailfin and either a coral reflection or another butterfly possibly on he side.

How close am I?

Just walked into the room this tank is in and the tusk is flared up at the glass with his gills out and teeth

Yeah you have most of them, my stock is 2 tomato clowns, sailfin, purple tang, 2 coris wrasses, foxface, pink tailed trigger and a flame angel. My melanarus just passed away which I'm not too happy about so I tried to replace him with a harlequin and the tank didn't take well to it constant harassment. Then I tried an banner butterfly fish that was reef safe they're pretty hard to find and they rejected him too. So in all my fish basically told me that they had enough. Hate going to the lfs now so much temptation. Last time I went I really wanted a banana wrasse. The tank is in a happy balance I can't disturb the peace

Just setup another tank. Boom problem solved and you get more space for more fish and you can play around with stock a bit more too.

you damn dirty mfk salt rats are getting me contemplating selling off half my fresh tanks to get one tiny salt....

I might just post that video of that if I remember. I'm expecting it to be a two handed job with a curious puffer and a fish that wants to shred me.

Yeah I'm gonna try to go full planted, I like kessil lights a lot so I might try to go with their plant light version. I have the 2 kessil 360we on my 120 gal reef and I really like the features of the pendant light and the program controller. Sometimes plants are tough to keep with discus if I have to raise the temperature to around 88 degrees. Sorry for the derail. If the tusk is already eating clams on a half shell he's nice and healthy probably gonna get really thick on that diet. I've been feeding my fish pe mysis, they gobble that up but my nitrate levels are climbing so I'm hoping to start feeding something else that's not as oily or messy. What else are you feeding your tank beside the nori and clams?
