Best FW algae eaters?

I too like the bristlenose or bushynose "plecos" (ancistrus species).

they do not get large as real plecos do, are not aggressive like CAE.

true siamese algae eaters are the best for black beard algae, but are useless against green spot algae on the glass.

My SAE's do a pretty good job keeping things under control.

anything that does of good job of keeping algae out of the tank ends up filling the tank with poop.. this goes for plecos, feifangs, snails and shrimp...


the best fish on the planet for keeping algae levels down are the "turntheeffinlightsoff fish" and the "stopfeedingsomuch fish"
