Yea i got one from johnptc and it was 200 shipped, and can't belive it my lfs by me wants 299 on sale for one...LOL

The local fish store wants $299.00 because this is the minimum allowable advertised price by Hagen. Selling for less than this price can result in Hagen no longer supplying the store with filters. If you find them for less than 299.00, take advantage of it. If another store complains to Hagen, the cheaper prices may go away quick.......

I got mine online from monsterpets in October of 07. Total was 194.25 which included shipping and tax. If this is true about places not being supplied the FX5 anymore, I may have to grab another one while I still can. 194.25 was such a steal.
