Best GTA game?

What do you think is best and which have you played? Iv played San Andres, Vice City, III, and IV. Im about half way through IV and Iv got to say SA was way better. IV has a smaller weapon/car/plane(is none)/buyable housing(none)/parking space to store vehicles, vehicle customization(none), helicopters etc. so much less everything. Cars are insanely hard to control at reasonable speeds. The large bridges require you to stop and pay a toll or else you get a star.

So what do you think is best and why? Im off to find SA for my 360 now...
 
I'll have to ask my son what is opinion is .He probably has all of them and knows them better than I do.This is one game that I would like to see made into a movie.....but done right.

Gt4 left me and my buds slinging back brews for years straight lol, then I started on live and I couldnt take all the ignorant vulgar crud people say, started a long time ago when the view was over head and the graphics weren't 3d. I beat gt4 without ever respawning, took awhile. love the ducati and the lambo.

San Andreas, because it, although being on the older side, is just the best! Like you stated, the houses and cars were just awesome, and the map was huge for a game that old. I don't think I know someone who hasn't played GTA SA

San Andraes was the best GTA hands down because it has better cheats! haha. I also have GTA 5 which is also pretty cool, but not as cool as SA.
