Best GTA game?

IV was by far the best, it had a great story and main character that wasn't too generic. I also loved The Ballad of *** Tony because it brought back some of those over the top elements like was in San Andreas.

I have played III, Vice City, San Andreas, IV (including Lost and the Damned and The Ballad).

Gt4 left me and my buds slinging back brews for years straight lol, then I started on live and I couldnt take all the ignorant vulgar crud people say, started a long time ago when the view was over head and the graphics weren't 3d. I beat gt4 without ever respawning, took awhile. love the ducati and the lambo.

I've played II, III, IV, Vice city and San Andreas

I've played III the most and felt the most comfortable with it...so to a degree that gets my vote but I believe San Andreas was the first to introduce road rage which without a doubt is a blast

Too bad though I haven't played these games since my truck was stolen.

I have full version of IV so ill get to those expansions eventually. But I just find IV a bore. No planes, no buying houses, and small map.
