I've been using the jager ever since I started the hobby about 5 years ago and never had an issue with it, but the newer version which says eheim jager that's being sold now is not that great IME...I've also read a lot of negative reviews on this new jager especially with the calibration botton they have which the old one didn't have..I recently switch to the marineland stealth pro and so far so good...the eheim jager that i had was heating all the way to 32 C when I set it to 25 C...
