I have emp 400's on two tanks and I love them. Theres a good amount of space for media, and the bio-wheels are great. Instead of the carbon inserts, I fill the media container with polyfilter and bags of matrix rocks. Never had an ac110 though, so who knows, but I am more than happy with the 400's
