Of course it is thats how you make Red Texas cichlids. Let me tell you though you will not find one as pure on the BP side like that. Usually they'll have black patches all over and junk but that one is pure. Even the texas side is hard to find pure and they fetch a good price as well.

hey i have a juvenile texas cross looks just like that but better looking mouth and it is turning red right now i would love to sell it for a fraction of that lol
