I think lightning not going to make or enhance your fish color brother it's his food since flowerhorn are carnivore so the fish need help for enhance the color and pellet is good example brother. But that doesn't means pellets will works like magic shaft but your fish genes is also role the important things beside that water parameter make sure you provided a proper one (clean water plus Ph around 7-7.8). I like the look of the AGA 8k bulbs. I prefer the PCs but flourescents work well too.
