Koliba.Hey Sovath, yeah I broke down a while ago & started a lower jaw collection. It was just a matter of time. I get them small at under 10"s so I can grow them out. Can you guess what it is?![]()

sp. Koloton.Well, you got to be more specific than just say "lap". Hao did not beat you to it. It is not sp. koliba.
sp. Koloton? TBH it looks like a Koliba to me. Headshape and pattern reminds me of Koliba though.
Yeah, I confirmed with my friend. He told me all that before. That's why I changed my comment but never fast enough. Frank is too fast.koliba & koloton headshape vary very slightly. It's not till you have them lined up you see the subtle differences. Koloton seems to have a more slender/elongated headshape when compared to koliba. I have 2 kolibas & 2 kolotons & major difference is the color base. I find koliba to have a darker green on them, while koloton have a more yellow mustard base to them. Koloton also seems to be more slender body wise compared to koliba. The markings will sharpen as it grows. I wish I had more specimens to compare as I am sure their are more variances within each of these sp.
