Like I said I'm biased but he's still a fantastic specimen and can you find one for less $? If I don't find any takers, my lfs will buy him.

At the time I bought him I had room for a big fish but afterwards I ended up getting a Dovii. I really like the Jardini but I'm a die hard cichlid fan and I like the Dovii better.

Wow That jar is a stunner and a steal it looks different from jars ive seen in lfs though because the ones i usually see have the pink spangles on them but i think that dark fin coloration makes it look better than the jars ive seen, and for 50 bucks if only you were in cali...

Thanks, he's even more of a stunner in person. He looks a little different from most other Jars I've seen here. He does have the pink spangles though but the camera flash washed them out in the pics. Each scale has a pink ( and a black ( marking on it.....like this: (( and black fins with yellowish/orangy markings on them.

Mine was the nicest that I have seen (RIP little guy)-Now thats over with..


I agree the flash has washed out the coloration-One can clearly see all the red it has though----Fins look darn good IMO also-

Bump for a killer deal-

I would place it in my tank if you shipped Sir...

That really is a spectacular jar, the color and brightness of the gold are fantastic. I think pounder and the other guy might have been looking at their own arowanas, because yours is impressive.
