wao... is a beatiful channa, but i dun think this is a female... usually male channa will be more pretty compare with female.. even bird, peacok fish also...

hmm.. if this is a male then I have to rename her.. I spoke to tropheus and he was leaning towards female.. you are the experts but the feeling I get is female..
in vegas.. not at all.. they are banned in the entire US but here in sweden they usually sell for 10-20 $
Try to take a photo of the head on upper view. Male will have a wide head and bit slimmer body and females will have a bit smaller head but more robust body. Color and patterns doesn't really make a difference between sexes.
To me it does look like a female.
