An adult wolf cichlid might work. Actually if the dovii claims the tank he will kill them.

midas pair would run a dovii lol.
plus the tanks almost to small for a pair of midas let alone dovii, or a dovii and a pair of midas lol.
i wouldn't add anything!

I used to have same problem in the end i put Red tailed sharks and silver sharks and a pair of cons . But i got so fed up with the pair attacking each other i split them up and now they are both reasonably calm in mixed tanks . I had enough of seeing bites all over each other and they were a 150g

A pair of Midas in a 125 is a nice set up, if you want somthing else break up the pair or get an enormus tank. Could you really see that as a viable option in 125? Why give advise like that? :WTF:

i have a meal midas with a femael red devil, 2 black convicet,2 parrot fish 2 white convicet, a clowen pleco and a polypterus.

Its going veary well u just make shere u feed them well. Make hidding places and your flying.

I also have a breeding pair in a 125 and I can tell ya now it's not going to work. I tried some salvini's and a pleco and it didn't. You might get away with some dithers like Clownloaches or a type of schooling fish might work, but at this point since they weren't in there before chances are "EXTREAMLY" slim.

First, don't ever take advice about ANYTHING from someone who can't even spell what they're talking about... BLACKTIDE,MIDUS?! Second, there are some stupid responses and maybe one logical one,but anyone who has kept cichlids know that any pair, especially the larger more aggressive species, are hard to find tankmates for especially if they already run the tank you want to add to. BUT,cichlids are trial and error, you can have the most aggressive Midas in one tank and a peaceful Midas in the next tank.Try adding a cichlid around the same size as them and see what happens,it might or might not work but don't let these people give you a definate no.I have a pair of breeding Dovii and and a large Midas in the same tank right now,its possible...
