I have a tank of livebearers. 30 gallon long. They have a case of ich, and I am worried. I have dealt with this before with increase temp and salt but lost some. They have had a recent stress from their old tank springing a leak and having to be moved. There are 3 otocinculas, 2 cory cats and a clown pleco in there as well.

I have the following meds: Quick cure, Aquarisol, Mardel Copper safe, Rid Ick, Noxick as well as Ick Guard Two for scaleless fish.

Which if these is best to use as a treatment for them? Has anyone has horrible luck with one and better luck with the other? I am terrified of losing these guys, as I have had them awhile and they are really one of my reasons for waking up in the morning.

bump temp and add AQ salt :)

yup 1 tbs/gallon
that should solve probs with ich

also if you have SA fish like p bass and aros discus SA pike cats use very lil to no salt at all SA fish aren't very happy about AQ salt... :)

pbass dont like salt?, i added some to mine, it wont kill them will it, they may not like it but they should be ok right.

Quick Cure works in a pinch, but I don't like to use it

I sometimes add AQ to my aquarium after water changes, my aro and pbass never had a problem and seem to be doin fine. Infact i just did a WC and added some salt about 10 mins ago.
