Best method of cleaning off a filter sock?

I use 25 micron socks. They last over a week before they clog. I flip them inside out, throw them in the washer on the heavy cycle. No bleach, no soap. I've had these socks for well over a year, still work good as new. Bleach may make them look new, but it still won't get particles out like the washing machine can. Same goes for a water hose.

I hand wash them (1 each at time) in a 5 gallon bucket with hot water to get the big particles, dump water and fill with more hot water but this time with a cap of bleach. Follow with several rinses then a third rinse with conditioner.

Washing machine +17. I've started using bleach as well, and it helps a lot.

I don't know about you guys, but I use a 200 micron, then a 100 micron, then a 50 micron inside each other. The 200 gets the big particles, the 100 the medium, and the 50 the small stuff. I have a heavy bio-load and they only require cleaning once every week to week and a half.
