mightve paid more attention if your avatar didnt have me on the boundary between conscienceness and unconscienceness.
 
Every time I feed my bettas! They each have a different response to me coming near their rack, and each betta has his/her own feeding style...

One of my bettas just lies at the bottom until the food comes...
Another watch the surface in anticipation...
And another paces the glass frantically...
And another snatches the food while turning around...
Anther jumps half an inch out of the water to get a mouthful as soon as the food hits the water...
Yet another just eats his flakes politely...
Another shows no reaction until she goes up for air and encounters the flakes...
And another gets spooked and dashes whenever I open the lid...
Another flares at my hand when I feed him...
Another sits there watching me calmly...her eyes only leave me to look at her food...
 
When I had my 75 gallon saltwater with a black volitans lionfish , Picasso trigger , and a clown trigger. I loved that setup. I could drop like ten goldfish in there at once and they were toast ( I did that maybe once a week) Normally they ate frozen fish brine shrimp etc
 
Last year when my fish room began construction. Still saying "this is it" on a daily basis.

Same! I love it when my murray cod hits the suface and then uses his big tail to splash water all over anything with such ease! He scares the crap out of me every time i lift his lid, the noise he makes as he boofs the surface!, and then drenches me! Awesome!

that sounds cool. next time i give my Mountain White Clouds food Ill lean right up to the water so I get wet :ROFL:
