Best nitrate and ammonia remover (to all the pros out there)

I do a 50% water change on all my tanks every 3-4 days now And prime detoxifies heavy metals But I wonder how long it binds them up for.. Anyone know ?

if Prime "binds" metals than it can be removed with the proper filtration...

I used to be a pool technician and used a product known as Super Erase from Pheonix Pool Products. it would remove metal stains and dissolved metals in the water but would be able to be removed by the filter. D.E. filters would almost always remove the metals in a day or two.

I doubt the product is aquarium safe, but i dont know if there is anything out there like it.
