i was wondering what would be some of the best online stores for supplies and fish i know the shipping charges for fish are pretty steep but there aren't too many lfs around here but there are a bunch of petco's and petsmarts. i'm looking to getting a 40gal breeder if any of you out there know where i can get one with a hood and light for a good price i would really appreciate it.

thanks,
Louie

I second www.bigals.com for service and price match guarantee!!!

p.s. if you wait for holidays, you can usually get free shipping , and on wednesdays it's double points day...................= free stuff after a while!!!!

Ive had good experiences buying from drsfostersmith.com.I havent bought from them yet but everyone that has has good things to say about jehmco.com

For fish, our community sponsors can sell you just about any fish available. Just ask.

As for aquarium supplies, I personally shop at drsfosterandsmith.com, and I am very satisfied with their service for a good 3 years now.

Glasscages.com has great prices on the tanks, but when I called for a shipping quote it was about $400 to have a 90 gallon freighted. Also, I would still had to drive about 4 hour's to pick it up because that was the closest they could get it to my house. The lady wouldn't even give me a UPS quote for such a large tank. If you can pick up the tank at one of the shows they go to it saves a lot of money.

If you can get a tank locally do it. The shipping you pay from Glasscages will more than make up for the price you pay at your LFS.
