Right now i have a 10 gallon with ghost shrimp but i found out that the ghost shrimp need brine shrimp to live and im abandoning that breeding idea. I want to breed them as a snack for my catfish.

I want a shrimp that will reproduce and skip the needing brine shrinp stage. What shimp would be the best, cheapest and maybe a bigger breed but thats not that important. I know cherry are like 5$ a piece. What other options do i have?

Cherry are closer to $1 a piece. Try checking on aquabid or the for sale section in aquaria central. As far as breeding shrimps go, cherry shrimp are probably your best bet. They breed like rabbits.

cherrys are not $1 apiece. Most places they are at least $5 apice here.

If you look online, you'll find plenty of people who sell them for $1 or under. Most of the time, you can get around 20 shrimp or so for $20, and that includes shipping. If you're trying to set up a breeding colony, I definately wouldn't recommend buying them from the petstore, simply because you'll be paying about 5x what you would online.

I have looked before and only found 3.97 a shrimp, can i get a link to where i can get 20 for 20$?
