Best paint?

I'm getting my 125 today in about 5 hours.:headbang2 And I want to do this tank right, no trashbag background, lol.:nilly:

So if I pick up some black Krylon spray paint, should I paint the background(back peice of glass) on the inside of the tank or the outside. Which Actually looks better.

I have a tank I had gotten that the back is painted, if anything do the back not the inside, so you can always scrape it back off if wanted :)

The glass should be free of dirt, wax, grease, build up.

Be sure this is what you want to do before you do it.

Whats wrong with the Valspar stuff?

Considering it's a 'lowes' brand..........it is probably a cheaper knock off, which will scratch easier, not last as long, or be as tough. In all my experience with paints, you get what you pay for, and the name brand paints are always good.

(i've kicked myself in the *** a few times from cheap paints, never again!)

Oh I'm sure it is what I want. Thanx. :D

Valspar is not a "lowes brand". It has been around for 200 years and one of the more respected names in the paint industry. They have a very close relationship with Lowes and have some exclusives with Lowes on certain paints.
