best pellet for dovii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
all three are good staple pellets, and it's good to have a mix of them together, so that is what i would feed your dovii.

I understand that pellets are great for cichlids and thats the truth. Now for the question. Arent dovii's cichlid eaters in the wild. So would it not be good to gut load some cons and feed them as snacks. I hope I dont affend any convict owners. Sorry. I love convicts myself but nothing beats them at making fry fast.

mmm sure it would be good. Because I'm fairly certain that nothing in the wild eats cichlid pellets, soooooo what do you feed your fish lol nothing but con babies. Which I personally have no problem with btw.

Just a question about dovii I never owned one and I wanted to know. That is what this forum is about right?

I do believe he means bio-gold in which case I agree ;)

You caught me...

Didn't realize I missed bio in there. But yeah I mean't bio gold.. Why is it better?

Supposedly less fecal matter created, added garlic extract, etc.

This sub-section of forum is about anything CA/SA cichlid related not including peacock bass. There's another sub forum for those.

IDK if they're listed as omnivores I'm betting they are but no real need for feeders. Honestly a good pellet diet will give you all the color and growth you could want.

mmm without looking it up yeah it has garlic extract, I believe twice the amount of vitamins and the one I'm not real sure on is I think it has higher protein and less ash but that one I'm not 100% on.

And six I was just messin with ya because with that reasoning even herbivores should then technically be eating only live plants. But yes they are a predator by nature. As far as I know they do not regularly eat vegetable matter in the wild. Or pellets ;)

Out of these two which pellet would be better for a large male dovii.

cichlid bio gold

cichlid gold

or just canned shrimp lol.

How about mixing those two with Omega One? That's what I do.
