keeping in mind that my 125gall is only 18'' wide I would think that a fish(rhom) that will get 15'' or so would be too large for the tank. Please let me know what you think?

finding a rhom 15" that was imported over here is ridiculously hard and expensive. Sure if you have one a 125g would be a little small, but if you have that kind of cash for the fish upgrading to a 6x2 wouldn't be a problem.

agree, especially if you are looking for diamonds

I went the econo route and ordered a 4'' peruvian rhom. I will be getting it next tuesday. I'll post pics when I recieve him/her. thanks for the advice everyone. I have only had red bellies in the past and I assumed a rhom would get to at least 14''-15''.

they grow some what fast up to 6-7" you should get to that point in 1st year then slows down a lot to may be 1" a year. the bigger they get the slower they grow and usually max out at 12" or so in home aquarium.

Hi jacking an old threat but jp, how long has that manueli been in on aquascape? Have you ever seen one in person?

they had a few mannys there when I last visited a while back, not a lot like maybe 2 or 3. so I would assume that the inventory had been turned over at least once since I was there last time.

give it a go then. Shark Aquarium also have some I think.

haven't been to those places for a long time, maybe I should pay them a visit when i find time.
