An lfs where I live has Geo. Proximus at the moment. Kind of unique. Can't decide whether to take the plunge though. Another store has several of the more common geos. I picked up some Gymnogeophagus El Norte at a local swap last year. I agree with others on here that you just have to keep a lookout and be patient if you don't want to order them.
best place in the US to order rare geos?

Surinamensis, are usually altifrons or abalios I have come to notice.

yeah i saw that. i was actually considering getting some biotodoma wavrini and also some guinacara geayi and do a small south american set up with dithers. i MAY get the gymnogeo san borja and set up a moderate cool water set up with some cold water dithers.
