Nothing personal against Dan or Gage, but Jeff Rapps is the only vendor that has imported wild citrinellus from Central America in the past decade.
That's all I need to hear. Thanks for confirming what I already thought. Just waiting for rapps to a answer my last email and I'll have some new a. Citrinellus on the way.

Jeff is definitely the one to go to for any amphilophus!!! If he doesn't have it then gage at cichlidconnection should. Everyone likes cheaper prices but if you think about it, who can really sell true quality dirt cheap??? If you look, you can see which two are more competitive. And IMO better quality

Jeff rapps fish might be a little more expensive but for my experience his wild fish are A++ quality! I will want to just order a few fish and I end up getting a bunch! I always dogroup orders with local guys of a local forum.

Rapps and Dan are my go to guys, but Dans prices are much better so i have order nearly exclusively from him for nearly a year. It all just depends on the species. For Midas I love Rapps fish but there are plenty of species that I think Dan has the edge on. I haven't seen many Midas from Dan but his male is an absolute brute. Either way you will be happy so I would just get a quote and whoever is cheaper is who I would buy from.
