My big plecos vacuum up all the rabbit pellets they can get. These pellets have a higher crude protein level, and lower ash content, than most algae wafers but, only costs me $17 for a 50lb bag.

There is not many foods that will sink that you can feed your Plecos and sinking foods that have to much protein in it will bloat and kill your Plecs if you feed them to much.
If you are to LAZY to sink food for your Plecos you do not deserve to own any of this amazing fish.

too true they need proper food mine eat carrots and cucumber if it wont sink then just stab some lead stip through it like you find on plants. also Hikari Algae Wafers are good and their sinking catfish pellets
