What's the best pleco for cleaning algae apart from bristelnose?

I agree with Xray_chic. Clowns stay small like BN's and do a good job. Mine use to. There aren't really any others I can think of that do a good job. Even the bigger ones are bad for that they tend to ignore it as they get older.

L262 are more meat eaters and L387 also lean more to eating meat according to Planet Catfish.

Bristlenose, Clowns and Leopard Sailfins do work in my tanks. The Leopard Sailfins are the best, but they get a good size on them and very fast. My largest is about 6".
