best protien skimmer

what is the best protien skimmer for a salt tank?
any personal preferance?

I use ATB and will never go with any other company. IMO best skimmers out there if you can afford them.

I found a good skimmer at around a 100 dollars on ebay that looked pretty good for the price its called a bubble magus those bublle kings are probably real good skimmer but they cost a lot if i had the extra money i would get the bubble king.

Can you do a in sump skimmer?

I find for a budget skimmer , the marineland works great.... It cleans up after my eel and grouper , and thats a huge job.

I've been hearing good things about the Reef Octopus Xp-2000 Cone Skimmer.

IMO for quality and budget Reef Octopus is a great choice. but the best on the market are the ones listed above.
