Best reccommended tempature for African cichlids

I have a bunch of Mbunas and I've always kept them at a temp of 78-80.Is this ok or should I go lower?

Yeah I heard some folks saying that 74-78 was better,the whole calming aggression theory.Which I have a lot of.

It all depends on you. I keep my temperature high to keep to give them a faster metabolism. thus growing faster.

I keep my cichlid tanks at 76-78, although the mbuna tank is about 80

Pretty much all of the common African Mbuna rock dwellers.Zebras,Labs.I'm just now starting to like the hybrids.
