I just got home and realized that one of me Jardinis fins are torn. what is the best and cheapest remedy for this. Ive heard of using melafix. will this work? what about stress coat? Or will this heal naturally? Please let me know as soo as possible thank you.

There are a number of possible reasons for torn fins. The jar could have been bitten by another tank mate, swam into some decor, or be in the begining stages or fin rot.
I would simply let the fin heal on its own.
We need more information to help you and a picture really helps.
me2, some people always seem to grab medicines for everything but fins will heal by themselfes after a couple of days.
Depending on how bad the tear is there really are a few options. If it is mild I would just proceed with my normal routine and basicly let the fish heal on his own. If it is a moderate tear I would go with salt and melafix. Finally if there were tears reaching the fleshy area of the fish I would probably start an antibiotic medication.
