Best Sand Substrate?

I am setting up my 55g soon and was looking at some different sands to use. I assume there isn't a huge difference in sand, but I will most likely be using a Quikcrete brand sand because I can get it a lot cheaper than actual aquarium sand. I just wanted to see what you guys thought was the best type of Quikcrete sand. I was looking at their All-Purpose Sand, Pool Filter Sand, or Premium Play Sand. Do any of you have any suggestions as to which of the 3 would be best? I would think Pool Filter Sand would be best, but since it won't be used in a filter I'm not sure if it will make a difference? I want something that is going to look "clean".

Very heavy won't mess up your filters. 8$ for 50lbs.

That's what I was leaning torwards, but is there any difference between their brand and Quikcrete? I would assume they're almost identical as far as composition, but quality wise?

I completely agree with F1 on this one. Pool sand is the best rout to take. It's cheap, the right color, granule size is perfect and it doesn't cloud or mud up.
