Thinking of moving away from my monsters and setting up a more relaxed tank.

I have a 180 with two motoros and they are boring. I want something with movement and color.

So I'm gonna sell off the current stock and go a different route.

Suggestions?

I was thinking like maybe 100 - 150 cardinals or something neat like that.

+1 on the no cichlids, you get so sucked into them that when you step back you realise you wasted an entire tank to a couple of large aggressive fish.

I actally thought about having a tank of nonstop dithers, tinfoils, balas, silver dollars, varying species of barbs etc

u dont want monsters? y are u still on this forum? hahahahaha

but in honesty i rekon wot rafini said would be pretty kool, a tank of dithers

I got a school of school of 7 silver dollars and 8 red belly piranhas that school really nicely together, they have great eating habits, always providing a show and sometimes swim around separately in their respective species. My texas and salvini have taken to following the school around too.

A giant school of cardinals would be pretty cool. I always wanted to start a planted tank with them or maybe green neons. They look amazing under good lighting

I've allways wanted a big planted tank of neons/ cardinals and shrimp
Maybe a few halfbeaks on the top
