Funny i just did this with a 180 grow out tank i have :) def love the constant movement of smaller fish compared to most monsters. Rays are very active tho? Neway my stock includes 7 filimentosus barbs,2 angels,4 bosemani rainbows, some goldfish lol and one albino pacu. The filimentosus barbs by far are some of the best fish ive owned in 12 years of keeping. Heres a pic of some...not mine tho.

My local petland has a 300 gallon planted community with about 50 of these barbs they look STUNNING in a shoal

I have 8 filament barbs and they are awesome! dont look very good when they are small. but when they grow they really colour up. males spar and display to each other too which is cool. mine are about 4 inches, supposedly get to about 6.

My vote is for congo tetras. I think a 180 with nothing but cardinals/neons would look really sweet, but would get boring in about a week...

True rummynose are my fav tetra. They can be had under 2.00 a fish. They really liven up my angel tank. Also a single big flagtail is good for those type tanks.

my flagtail grew 1" in a year and was eventually bullied to death by all the fish that outgrew it. They are an awesome fish for sure but with my experience I wouldn't bother with them again

I MIGHT TRY A MIX OF.... giant danios ...silver dollars ...pictus cats.... and maybe rainbows or big barbs:popcorn:+ some small plecos
