Yeah if bought at 3-4 inch expect 12 inch in 3 months. I had mine hand feeding at 6 inch!-)

hoplias aimara,armatus, gatf or jardini or silver aro. Im being a bit biased here but I personally think you should go with a large atf or armatus. Armatus= most favorite and aggressive feeder ive ever had. They grow quick on feeders.
