Best submersible heaters?

I just checked my 200W Eheim Jager heater that I bought 2 years ago and it has condensation inside the glass tube. All bad. On a saltwater forum I read that a guy changes his heaters out every year because of the high failure rate that seems to plague most heaters after 1 or 2 years of service. He justified it by saying that he has so much money invested in his livestock that spending $50 to $100 per year on new heaters is a small expense. Something to consider.

condensation is not a sign of them being bad, happens due to heating and cooling.
Jagers are imo the best of the crap! the ones made in the past few years I have the most problems with, it takes persistence to get customer service, but they do end up replacing them. visitherm have been fine with me, but break too easy. Jehmco or Kensfish has good prices on equipment

I use the JBJ true temp titanium heaters. They work well. I found out the hard way yesterday they have no safety shutoff if out of water. I forgot to unplug one and it melted the plastic holder and ruined if. Luckily I was right there and smelled it. It was glowing red when I got it off the aquarium wall, so it probably would've fell to the bottom and broke the tank. Everyone just remember to unplug your heaters when doing maintenance. It sucks I just bought the heater and installed it a week ago.
 
fluval e 300 heaters are my choice. I have 5 and they area alll ayear old no problems

Really? Water on the inside of the heater tube is not a problem? Do other people run heaters even if you see condensation on the inside of your heaters? I was planning on tossing it.

Got two in the mail last week for testing purposes. I'm so far really impressed with the devices and their build quality. They are also REALLY easy to setup and get the temp you actually want in your tank. That being said time will tell if they are reliable.
