Best submersible heaters?

Really? Water on the inside of the heater tube is not a problem? Do other people run heaters even if you see condensation on the inside of your heaters? I was planning on tossing it.

My jager with condensation inside is not one of the ones giving me issues. That being said not all of my heaters or even jagers for that matter have this issue. I think the variance in manufacturing as apparent by the dynamic internal moisture issues is evidence that china struggles to make good reliable products.

Isn't that what they claimed was wrong with the stealth pro heaters? They got condensation inside and the heat turned it to steam and the heaters exploded like a depth charge. There's no way I'd trust a heater with water inside.

I'm not sayin its good just that I have one or two that do have it inside... after reading your post I'm inclined to remove them though! :nilly:

Got two in the mail last week for testing purposes. I'm so far really impressed with the devices and their build quality. They are also REALLY easy to setup and get the temp you actually want in your tank. That being said time will tell if they are reliable.

What brand did you get? Do the end
Caps on the heater element look like they're good quality? Someone posted that they got one shipped to them & the end cap was loose in the box. Have you checked for current leaks with these?

I got via aqua titanium from kensfish.com and so far so good. I'll run another test tonight as I have to do a water change anway and test parameters on my young tank setup.

i have a 300 watt via aqua from amazon for 20 bucks and it works fine, even had it above the water when i didnt notice, seem to turn itself off in that circumstance, but dont take my word for it (didnt notice it advertised that way), either way heater still works and it has my vote.
