Best tankmates for oscars?

A catfish that doesn't get too big. They won't bother each other and adds a little bottom action if you get one that doesn't hide all of the time.

definatelty not yellow labs. they come from africa. oscars come from south america. two completely different ph levels.

imo, the best tankmate for an oscar is another oscar. did you know that when they are kept in groups of 6 or more they have been known to school. plecos work well too, but the oscar doesn't get anything out of that
