I was wondering what kind of fish would you guys recommend for breeding to use as feeders for my VATF and Tat?

I had pretty good success with breeding convicts. Super simple to accomplish and you'll have plenty of feeders!

I tried feeder convicts before. Only problem was, the little guys would hide right away, and then emerge hours later to rip up my catfish. I left them in there for a few days, until one night they chewed up the catfish so bad he got a fungal infection.

Mine were breeding every 3 weeks. And then it takes a few months before the fish get any significant size.

No, they are one girl for one boy fish, boys do sometimes kill their girls...best get two about the same size if you can.
