thanks, yea, i'm just calling it like i see it. kongo is a close second. silva beat him by just a hair.

but i think kongo has the greatest come from behind victory in ufc history. second would be frankie edgar vs gray maynard rematch

What about silva vs sonnen? Andersen got dominated almost the entire fight not a ko but still an amazing comeback...

wow, you are absolutely right. shame on me to totally forget about that. the silva comeback would push down both the comebacks i mentioned.

although i was originally thinking in terms of knock outs. but comebacks in general? silva would take the cake

Have to give it up to Kongo! Amazing recovery after getting rocked twice. Used to train with Johny Hendricks, that would be my second choice.

That was a good hit by Hendricks, omg! We need to start a submission thread. My to favorite hobbies fish and watching MMA. Diaz vs Condit shold be amazing IMO, 2 of my favorite fighters.

how is it training or have trained with marc laimon? he kind of comes off to me as a douche but i don't really wanna judge him since i don't know him personally and have only seen him on tv a couple of times coming off that way.

he's got a decent jj resume and has a notable win over ryron gracie. it must've been awesome to train with him

Honestly, I loved training with him. I remember my first day, he noticed I was new and immediately walked over and introduced himself. I kind of had an idea of how he looked like, but wasn't too sure if that was him or not. Later I was surprised how friendly he was. Great coach and teacher, learned a lot of practical stuff under him. He ended up moving to Texas with the Team Takedown guys, so I started training under Robert Drysdale. Drysdale is a great instructor, world class competitor, and awesome coach, but the environment at his gym just isnt the same. It felt more like a family at Cobra Kai.

drysdale too?? sweet dude. there's a gracie jj school in my town. my cousin has seen royce at an in and out burger near that school. i'd love to train some jj if i had the time

thanks for the post. i figured it was like that. a lot of fighters and teams get prematurely judged based on the media or little time they had on camera. i think people would find that most fighters are super nice in person and nothing like what they see on tv.
