so my tank is getting longer direct sunlight in the morning and the water is getting a bit green. i was wondering what UV filter is the best, cheapest or easy to install. thanks.

for lighting why dont you just use UV? thats what i do with my tanks so i dont have to worry to much bout algea
I would also like to hear more about this? You mean a UV light above the tank like a fixture? Wouldn't that bother the fish?
i have that for my 30gallon with 2 Angels and 6 Pink Zebra's this tank is at my grandparents so ill try to get you guys pics tonight or tomorrow
I just bought and installed a Deep Blue Clarity 18 watts for my 150.....within in 2 days it went from green tinted cloudy water...to sparkling clear! Seriously I have never seen water this pristine!!!

Ok well it's a custom tank and basicly the owner before me didn't have much room to put a UV sterlizer in the tank, cause it would mean less swimming space for the fish. So what it sounds like he told me he got a UV bulb or something like that place it into where the normal lighting is sposed to go. Ill take pics in the mournin to explain better. It keeps the tank crystal clean and the fish do t et stressed at all.
