best way to aclimate a stingray?

Whats the best way to acclamate a stingray? Motoro about 6". Would a drip system into a 5 gal bucket work? add a air pump?

I normally use a drip system and start changing dumping out water if it gets to high

slow drip method works best.
In a container that is big enough for him to move around some so he will feel conf.
And read the above link in the post before mine. It gives alot of good info.

Depends on how long the trip was, i got 6 rays rom peru, direct, think they spent over a day by traveling, the ammonia was so frikking high that my scale didnt even have enough numbers(went to 5,0), 0,5 is bad enough. In this case i just did the dump,let them lay in the aqua for a little while(temperature), i could see that they were struggeling, so i just dumped them in, 5 out of 6 survived.

Never read this before, makes alot of sense. I add stress coat once the bag is opened, drip, and add an air stone.

Drip doesn't get rid of the ammonia spike that happens when the bag is opened and the oxygen gets in the bag.... I alaways do the squirt and dump method
