I'm looking for a huge tank, anything thats atleast 3ft wide. But None of my lfs stores sell them. What would be the best way of finding one of these? cheap also if its possible?

here are the standard prices, it's not easy to get a huge tank for cheap, gotta get lucky and look at classifieds, buy/sell sections in forums like these, craigslist and such, if you can't find one after a while you might have to bite the bullet and go with glasscages

If you can be patient about it, craigslist.com will probably have something. Was looking at the Dallas/Ft Worth area a few days ago and saw quiet a few good deals. This is a great place to go to find the people that go out and buy a tank only to realize that they have to do water changes so they get rid of it for real cheap.Saw a couple of 100g+ tanks with stand, filter, etc for under $300.Garage sales can also pay off.

Tanks that are 3 feet wide are not cheap. If you are looking for something large to hold water I suggest you try a feed store. Look for a poly stock tank. These come in many different sizes.

My ponds still her i would just like something to put in my living room for a show tank.

i ordered a 5'x3'x25"(LxWxH) from glasscages.com but when i ordered mine it was a custom size and just to let everyone know the tank is like 233gallons not 240 not thata 7 gallons matters but...anyways i wish i would have made it 6feet long instead of 5 but they do a nice job the glass is nice and thick and they put a piece of glass all the way around the bottom about 3-4" into the tank bottom....but you better have a good amount of people to move it...we had to hire people to move mine since we had to take it into the basement... anyways the only downside of glasscages is that they silicone is pretty visible and they dont make it look the nicest(the silicone that is) the just put it on there but i think its the best value for the money

Mine is a glasscages tank I would get another if I had room They are built well and best bang for the buck. As long as you are putting gravel in it they look fine. Mine is a show tank built into a wall in my living room.
