It is twelve hours from here. Tell your dad that it will make a cool road trip and you can sell off what you don't want. You will get more money selling stuff individually so you might pay for the trip and end up with a pretty cheap tank.
Try looking on Craigslist.org. I got really luck and was able to get a 300g plexi w/dual corner overflows(for free mind you), a custom 50g wet/dry sump filter for $100, 2 plexi glass tanks(120g w/built in wet/dry filter,55g w/corner overflow and both with stands!) that I traded my mountain bike for. Craigslist.org is the bomb!
