Thanks again, I'm monitoring it very closely. I think it's probably the Kh causing it to 'rebuffer' itself like someone else suggested. It's holding rock solid at about 7.5 so I'm just gonna leave it alone and if the wood and nitrate cycle cause it to go down I'll deal with it then, but I don't think it will drop so much that I will really need to do anything. I could always do smaller water changes to lessen the ph swings also if it were to drop to like 6.5 or less but I'm thinking it won't between my tap water and the rocks I have in there. I think it's good where it's at, I was gonna shoot for 6.5-7.0 but that's really not that far off from where the tap water is anyway!
