Just get an egg crate and then get some mesh (make sure that its not metal because it will corrode) and put that over the egg crate

I'm using poret foam as a divider. It's not cheap but serves as both a divider and a filter.

if the fish are small enough to go thru eggcrate, you can get sheets of plastic cross stitch canvas. tie it against the eggcrate with fishing line. it comes in a variety hole sizes. buy anywhere they sell yarn craft supplies.

me too. but all that time & work... if you already have eggcrate it's much easier putting plastic stitching canvas over it.

Thanks guys, I looked at screans but Idk if its safe to use so im just going use plexiglass. Like I said the holes are too big on the eggcrate. But thanks agen!
